We have an on-site training facility, our training school is DSA approved and we have experienced CBT and DAS instructors.
All learner motorcyclists and moped riders must satisfactorily complete a CBT before riding on the road. After completing a CBT you can ride on the road on a learner legal motorcycle.
A CBT consists of five elements;
A. Introduction
B. Practical on-site training
C. Practical on-site riding
D. Practical on-road training
E. Practical on-road riding.
The five elements must all be completed to a safe basic level. Trainees must, by law, receive a minimum of two hours on-road ride in element E. When all elements are completed, a certificate of completion (DL196) will be issued.
You can now apply for the DSA motorcycle theory test, and if you pass that, go on to take the practical test.
The CBT will last for two years, it will have to be re-taken if both theory and practical tests are not passed within two year's.
You can book the CBT over the phone, the course usually takes one day.
Prices start at £100.00 if you use your own bike,scooter or moped. Your bike must be fully road legal, ie taxed, insured, have a current mot if applicable, display L plates etc. You can hire one of our mopeds or a geared 125 bike for £115.00.
We can provide you with the necessary safety clothing like helmet and gloves.

We now offer DAS courses, for those who want to do the full motorcycle test and ride above a 35kw bike.
Prices start from £130.00 a day, including bike hire. Courses range from three to five days, our instructor would advise you which course to choose after assessment.
You need to pass the theory test before you can apply for the practical test, the theory test can be booked directly with the DSA on 03002001122. |
